چکیده

Abstract Numerous reinforced concrete structures require strengthening due to mistakes in detail engineering design, incorrect execution during construction, or overloading. One method of structural is use haunch beam casted near column. The development infrastructure Indonesia leads an increase cement use. This phenomenon causes a greenhouse effect higher CO 2 emissions, so that effort performed order reduce the by using geopolymer concrete. study aims experimentally analyze behavior beams both Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete (SCGC) and conventional (SCC) terms load deflection at first crack, yield, ultimate conditions as well crack pattern plastic hinge beam. utilized four specimens consisting SCGC SCC with compressive strength fc’ 31 MPa. All identical were tested monotonic loading loading-unloading conditions. As result, have larger capacity compared loading-unloading. has slightly lower smaller shows performance relatively similar SCC. can substitute SCC, especially for reinforcements. Due state, plasticized same location end. By implementing beams, hinges move away from

monotonic and cyclic loading of new frp reinforced concrete cantilever beams

frps (fiber reinforced polymer) possess many favorable characteristics suitable and applicable for construction industry when compared with steel reinforcement. there are new ideas to use frps as longitudinal or transverse reinforcement for new concrete elements particularly for bridge decks or beams. although high tensile strength of frp is main characteristic for applications at both areas, i...

Effects of Loading Rate on Reinforced Concrete Beams

The effects of loading rate on the reinforced concrete beams are experimentally studied in the present paper. Firstly, the effects of strain rate on the different grades of concrete are investigated using the electro-hydraulic servo-controlled testing system at the strain rate that might be experienced during earthquakes. Based on the test results, the dynamic increasing factors (DIF) of concre...

Behaviour of Reinforced Fibrous Concrete Beams under Reversed Cyclic Loading

When earthquakes occur, energy released by the earthquake gets induced into the structure as ground motion and this energy has to be dissipated for safety reasons. To release seismic energy, the structure should damage in such a way that on one hand, collapse of structure should not occur and on the other hand, after the earthquake, damage should be economically feasible to repair. To avoid the...
